Graduation Degree for Just Rs 10 : The Madhya Pradesh government has started a unique scheme for financially weak but promising students, with the help of which now admission in college can be taken by spending only 10 rupees. This facility is especially for those students who are good in studies but were unable to move forward due to lack of money.
Children of poor families will get direct benefit
Children of poor working class of the state will no longer leave their studies midway due to money. The government has taken this step so that no talented student is left behind just due to financial constraints. Admission will be given for just 10 rupees
Under this scheme, the state government takes a nominal amount of only 10 rupees from the students. The government itself deposits the rest of the fee in the college. Usually the annual fee of the college is between 2,000 to 3,000 rupees, but under this scheme, the students do not have to pay this amount themselves.
Who can apply?
This scheme is for those students who have scored good marks in 12th. 70% or more marks are required for MP Board students and 85% or more marks are required for CBSE Board students. If you have scored this many marks, then you will be considered eligible for this scheme and can get admission in college for just Rs 10.
Support is being received from these schemes
Many schemes are being run simultaneously by the state government to help the students. Among these, Medhavi Yojana, Sambal Yojana and Mukhyamantri Bal Kalyan Kovid Yojana are prominent. Through these schemes, not only the fees of the students are waived, but they are also encouraged for further studies.
Admission process started
The Higher Education Department of Madhya Pradesh has completed the first phase of the admission process in colleges. The merit list has also been released. Now the second phase of the online application process is starting from June 13. Students who did not apply earlier or were stopped due to fees can now apply again through this scheme.
