UP Government Jobs 2025 : The year 2025 has brought new hopes for unemployed youth in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government is preparing to fill a large number of government posts this year. The government wants to complete the recruitment process expeditiously before the assembly elections to be held in February 2027. It is estimated that the process of appointment to more than one lakh posts in various departments can start this year.
Preparation for recruitment in large numbers in UP Police
This time new appointments are likely to be made on about 23,763 posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. This includes about 19,000 posts of constable and 4,543 posts of sub-inspector. This proposal has been sent to the UP Police Recruitment Board by the DGP office and the application process is expected to start very soon.
Along with this, the state government has also announced 20 percent reservation for Agniveers who have returned from the army. Only the natives of UP will get the benefit of this reservation. It is possible that the notification related to recruitment may be issued by the last week of June.
Appointment on 44 thousand posts for Home Guards
The state government is also planning large-scale recruitment in the Home Guard department. This recruitment process is starting again after about 14 years. This time there is a plan to appoint 44 thousand posts. In this process, high school pass youth will get a chance, whose age will be between 18 to 45 years. Applications for this recruitment can be taken from July and the selection process will include written examination as well as interview.
Teachers will also be reinstated on a large scale
The Education Department plans to recruit 65,000 teachers this year. A target has been set to appoint a total of 2 lakh teachers in two years. Its first phase is to be completed in 2025. This scheme was presented by the UP government in a meeting of the Central Government, in which a proposal was made to recruit 1,81,276 teachers in primary schools and 12,856 teachers in secondary schools by March 2026.
Although no official announcement has been made on this yet, it is expected that the education department will also start the recruitment process soon.
Government strategy and election preparation
Keeping in mind the 2027 elections, the Yogi government wants to open more and more job opportunities for the youth. To weaken the issue of unemployment, the government can increase the number of recruitment and a target has been set to complete all the processes on time. This will help the youth get timely results and appointments will also be done quickly.
